Problem Analysis Rational.

Brief: (What is the problem you intend to solve?)
After learning that children interact visually with Christmas the problem that i am tackling is that there are not enough Christmas books that children can interact with and learn from particularly Christmas books.

Who needs to know? (who is your audience)
Children that believe in Christmas.

What do they need to know? (Be clear and specific)
That there is a preparation to Christmas and a lot to do, but mostly that Christmas is not merely about presents but is more to do with belief. i suppose my book is to promote an idea that Christmas should be cherished and kept for children.

What do they need to know? (Be clear and specific)

That Christmas is a special time i want my audience to know that Christmas is more magical than they could imagine.
What will they respond to? (How will they connect/understand the outcome?)
A product that is visually interactive and interesting on many levels. This could be magnetic, a pop up book,
sticker book, made out of different products.

What research is required? (What do you need to know in order to complete this brief to it's full potential?)

Research will be primary and secondary This will be mostly looking at children's illustrators to gain ideas for layout. I will also explore many different children's books and how they are put together materials etc.
