Karmarama.

I love the work these guys do because it makes me laugh and mostly it has a strong voice. This work also reminds me of the sort of stuff that got me interested in Graphic design to start with making a point through type and image. This I have forgotten somewhat and need to get round to doing again.

Below explains what they are all about.

We’re an independent creative agency focused on making our client’s budgets work as hard as possible. We create big ideas without boundaries, from TV to online communities, and are passionate about effectiveness not creative awards. Some of the reasons why clients like Nintendo, Unilever and Coca Cola choose to work with us.

This is some of the stuff they do.

Make tea not war

War is a stupid thing isn't it?
Disagreements that ultimately lead to war could so easily be solved over a chat and a cuppa. Well that's what we think anyway. Our light-hearted approach during the anti-war march cut through to become the defining protest image of the day, featuring in nine national newpapers, two US papers, on BBC and Sky News and in both the Economist and Reader's Digest. It is also on display in the V&A and Trento Museum of Modern Art in Italy.

Belmont Mini Market

The Belmont Mini-Market was our local fag n' milk shop that did a great line in penny sweets. So when a shiny new Sainsbury's opened round the corner threatening its closure, we decided to step in…

Arrest me I’m Banksy

We created a website and these t-shirts to help take a little police heat off London’s most famous, but anonymous graffiti artist. In fact it worked so well that Charles Saatchi fell for it and had a twenty minute chat in his gallery with one of our "Banksies".

T and Kofi Mugs, T and Sugar Mugs

We all really like tea and coffee at Karmarama and were sure that other people out there did too. The intuition paid off. Our T & Kofi mugs, that started out as client gifts, were so popular that we decided to flog them in Urban Outfitters where they were a complete sell-out.
For this new tea drinking season, we’ve updated our mugs with a touch of Sugar.
