Regarding the four p's starting with production this meaning me and my skills as a designer. I have acquired good knowledge of photoshop and illustrator, this will be key when laying out my t shirt designs. Other skills that will help in the production of the product are my understanding of print methods and of course my ability to draw. I would also need to consider price, my first consideration would have to be the price of the programmes I would need these being illustrator and mostly photoshop. As well as software other equipment i,e the price to rent out printing facilities whether this be screen or industrial. I would also have to buy a certain amount of t- shirts in batch from a supplier and purchase the appropriate inks. Once my t shirts are designed and printed I would need a point of sale this could simply be a website a small market store or a shop all costly particularly the rent for the shop. Then I would have to balance the cost of all the above against my expected sails to work out a reasonable price that possibly undercut other t shirts and left me with a profit.
Next is placement and promotion where i would sell my skills as mentioned previously this could be on the web via social network sites that link to a possible website or I could meet up with leading clothes manufacturers to sell my ideas. I could showcase on certain competition briefs such as d and a d etc. I could use mail outs business cards etc or simply my own shop in the correct location.
